Our mission
To preserve the Lisa Allen Memorial Collection and Gallery at the Giraffe House and to continue sharing it with fellow giraffe lovers from all over the world—while at the same time raising funds for the charitable causes Lisa held dear.
Our vision
We believe that interest in the GH and Lisa Allen Lybrand Memorial Collection & Gallery can support both our philanthropic and commercial goals through intentional collaborations, partnerships, charity support, and community outreach.
Our Family
For over 40 years, the Lybrands have been active members of the Mt. Tabor, Montavilla, and Grant HS/Laurelhurst communities in Portland, participating in a variety of local sports, service clubs, community theater groups, parade and block party committees and neighborhood watch associations.
Bert's fun-loving, business-minded spirit has brought the Giraffe House Project to life—but having watched their parents run a family business for most of their childhood, daughters Sarah and Meghan's own perineurial spirit is driving the mission as well.
